Maybo Technology

Headline Sponsor

Maybo’s core mission is to promote positive and safer services and we are honoured to be the headline sponsor of the inaugural Workplace Violence Reduction Awards, that recognise excellence and innovation in this complex and vital area of safety, risk and wellbeing.

This awards scheme is led by World Excellence Awards who are known internationally for their professionalism, integrity and independence.

In our experience at Maybo we have found successful organisations recognise that the safety of employees and the people they support and/or interact with go hand in hand. Zero tolerance and heavily staff safety biased approaches can result in adversarial ‘them and us’ interactions and increased conflict. At the other extreme, organisations that prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the people they serve over that of their staff will struggle to build an environment and culture where everyone feels safe and supported. We are confident these awards will highlight the individuals and organisations that recognise the difference, and that create cultures and environments where everyone can feel safe and supported.

Since 1996 Maybo has played an active role in shaping best practices in violence reduction and has helped hundreds of organisations, of all types, to create positive and safer services for their workforces and the people they serve. Its innovative, evidence-based training programmes consistently set new benchmarks for care and safety in workplaces in the UK and internationally.
